Werkbank Lana

The "Werkbank Lana" exhibition concept presents exhibitions as events of a performative character, while at the same time of very brief duration. The Werkbank events usually last from two to five days and are accompanied by artist talks, concerts, DJ and VJ evenings and culinary "happenings".

The curators of the Werkbank Lana design the exhibitions themselves as both an event and a performance. Thus, the open-air gallery and the off-space of the Werkbank at Gries do not form a traditional gallery, but rather serve to help create events and performance actions. To create an event in this context means to host a gathering for the interested public and to promote communication and networking between all the various parties involved.
